Was fondling some putters at Galaxy today. Tried the PLD DS72 mid mallet. It's a lot like my current Ping Darby, but significantly heavier. I really liked it. However, I kind of like the non PLD version of the DS72 better. I like the way the black flange with steel top line frames the ball.
I bought this without getting fitted and it doesn't suit my stroke at all. I have a strong arc and this face-balanced putter fights me on every stroke. The quality is undeniable but please get fitted before buying. Returning and looking at the Anser instead.
