Hello /r/golf-ers, a few days ago I asked for help with a survey for class. A big thank you to everybody that helped, it went a lot quicker than I ever thought! I had 187 respondents between my classmates who golf and you people. Of course SurveyMonkey will only let me see the first 100 responses for free or I'd have to pay for a premium account. I assure you the money will be much better spent on a glove and some balls instead. Anyway, the winner of my little M2 contest is /u/loganlacaze, congratulations! Club will be in the mail soon! Sorry to anyone who didn't get it, maybe when other people are done testing theirs out they will pay them forward (or sell on Craigslist, whatever). And below are the results from the survey, about what I expected. #10 is a wall of text but I didn't leave any out (thinking about those killing time at work). I did however remove usernames to maintain anonymity, feel free to claim them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- **Summary of results:** quality brand that's expensive **Question 1:** 98% Male **Question 2:** 32% were 19-25 years old, 49% were 26-35 years old **Question 3:** Titleist golf balls were u

Hi there, I'm considering to buy winter golf gloves. I've got a round planned tomorrow and it wil most likely be freezing or almost freezing out. Yesterday I went to the range for one and a half our with my normal golfing glove (1) on, which was fine. But on the range it is wind free because of walls of course. There's going to be a nasty cold eastern wind and while playing the course I'm nog gonna be hitting ball after ball of course. Has anyone got experience with winter gloves? Do they bother you while playing? Do they really keep your hands warm? What should I be especially looking for when finding a nice pair? I hope someone can help me. Cheers
I'm spending my first winter in Michigan (formerly in Louisiana and Florida... so...). The range near my house has an area with heated mats. Still, it's going to get really cold here. I hate swinging in a full hoodie because it can be restrictive. I just bought Footjoy Wintersof gloves and a couple Nike Pro Combat heat gear shirts. Is there anything else that has worked for you to keep your swing in tact over the cold months?
