Upgraded from old Callaway X Hots. The difference is night and day. Ball flight is higher, more consistent, and the turf interaction is incredible. The tri-sole design really helps me get through the turf cleanly even when I hit it a little fat. Sound is a bit clicky but I've gotten used to it.
These irons perform wonderfully for forgiveness and distance. My complaint is the loft creep - the 7 iron is 28 degrees, basically a traditional 5 iron. So yes you hit it farther but it's apples to oranges comparing to your old set. Also the PW at 41 degrees means you need a gap wedge badly. Added $150 to my purchase for an approach wedge.
The offset on these irons plus the draw bias has nearly eliminated my slice. I went from losing balls right every other hole to hitting fairways and greens. For anyone fighting a slice, these should be on your list. Feel is solid and the look is way better than I expected for a super game improvement iron.
The irons themselves are fine but one arrived with a rattling sound inside the head. Contacted Callaway and it took 6 weeks and multiple calls to get a replacement. Unacceptable for a $900 iron set. The replacement was fine but the experience soured me on the brand.

These irons are LONG. Like really long. But the spin numbers are so low that the ball just rolls through greens, especially the longer irons. My 6 iron carries 195 but rolls out another 15+ yards. If you play firm courses this is a real problem. Great for soft conditions though.
