There are apps that will locate AirTags that are following you so that they can be found and disabled. This basically renders the AirTag useless for tracking thieves. \n\nBut there is a work around. \n\nWhen a thief knows he has an AirTag in his proximity, he can trigger the AirTag to make a noise that he can then find it and take out the battery. So, to combat that, you can disable the sound the AirTag makes. The thief will still know he is being tracked, but he will no longer easily be able to find the AirTag. \n\nTo disable the sound mechanism of an AirTag, start by opening the device. Here are my tips for holding on to your equipment, and for finding things that have been lost. \n\n     •Get a label maker, and put your name/phone number on important items. I have mine on the back of my wedges and putter, just below the grip. I don’t find this to be distracting in that spot. I also have my info on my rangefinder, rangefinder case, speaker, and portable charger. They also sell labels for your clubs at golf stores. \n     •Put your rangefinder case in your driver cover, or in the basket at the back of the cart. This way you won’t forget it when unloading. \n     •If you lose something, be very specific when describing to the pro shop employees. It’s a lot easier to get a “Callaway Big Bertha 7-Iron with a black grip” back to you than just “my 7 iron.” Also, if you have your name on it, it is much easier to identify as yours. \n     •If your club/item wasn’t found/turned in, call again about 1 hour after opening the next day. Bluetooth 5.0 has a long range (up to 800 feet) and will allow for up to 2 speakers to connect but a) most speakers aren’t even 5.0 yet (like the entire line of JBL speakers), and b) it doesn’t solve the problem of 4 carts.  I also learned about the AmpMe app that lets multiple devices connect so that everyone is hearing/watching the same media. I got super-excited about this but learned that it is $9.99 ... PER WEEK. That’s $520 per year ... ummmm, no.  The only other option I came across was the JBL speakers that have the Connect + feature which allows multiple speakers to connect.
