The technique allows him to maximize his potential but athletics and genetics will always play a part. \n\nSame goes for golf. There is a spectrum of what the golf swing should look like and anything too far from it will significantly decrease the odds of you maximizing your potential. But since athletic ability does matter, you will see that some players are still better than others despite having “worst” technique. I'm looking to fine tune my swing, I learned how to golf years ago and I've been on and off the past few years and now I'm getting much more serious so I'm looking to refresh my swing and improve consistency.\n\nWhile there is a lot online about basics of golf swings, and I've been diving into YouTube videos and articles all over, what I'm struggling with finding is anchor points, or technique checks, tools and drills etc. that can help to ensure that the fundamentals of my swing are right. Please allow me to give my plan that I think will work.  And what I mean is that you do a few hours of raw golf video on the course, hand the raw video to an AI video editor and the AI takes that video and adds shot tracers to the entire video for every shot.  You know what does have completed shot data that the camera watching the shot does not have?  Arccos or something similar.  When you go find your ball to take the next shot, you are hitting from where your previous shot ended so that's one data point that is needed that the AI now has.  Is the AI smart enough to take the location of the shot end point and translate that to a location as shown on a pic from the teebox?  Yeah, I think the AI can do that.  Now, all you need is shot shape.  So, for every shot, after you hit it, speak so it is recorded on the video and say, shot started 10 yards right, went slightly higher than average for my driver, bounced straight, rolled an average amount.
